The Media Aren't Biased, Are They?
We keep being told that the media aren't biased. But that's really like telling us that fish can't swim. The following are how these fairly typical representatives of the meida twist their stories to slant to the left. The all concern Judicial Watch, which seems to be conservative, when suing a Liberal, but just a simple "legal watchdog group" when suing Republicans.
When Salon gets sued, JW is "a conservative Washington, D.C.,
But when Cheney gets sued JW magicly becomes simply "Washington-based
Judicial Watch" a "watchdog group"
The Washington Post
In '98 it was ". . . Judicial Watch, the conservative group suing
the Clinton administration in 18 separate matters, . . ."
Today it's "Virginia-based Judicial Watch" a "watchdog
Last year when JW helped sue Condit we were told that ". . . the group
Judicial Watch pursues a conservative poltical [sic] agenda . . ."
But today when they are suing Cheney the are a nothing more than a "public
interest group" and a "legal watchdog group"
CNN accuses JW of being paid Clinton attack dogs
But when they sue Republicans, JW becomes a "public interest law
When JW sues a democrat (Gephardt), they're a "conservative
When they sue a republican (Cheney) they're a "Washington-based
organization infamous for its doggedness in pursuing government officials"
FOX (The supposedly "right wing" news network)
When JW sues democrat Janet Reno, they're a "conservative legal
But when they sue republican Cheney, they become simply "Washington-based
