Ivanov: There remains now no need for war.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (LNN) -- Iraqi President Saddam Hussein is reported to have scratched his chin with his fingers while raising one eyebrow. National leaders from all across the globe hail this as absolute proof that Saddam will definitely think about listening to disarmament talks, and have called for an end to all plans for war against Iraq.

Withdrawal of troops demanded immediately

Russian, Chinese, French and German leaders have insisted that with this latest developments, any doubt about Saddam Hussein's intentions to fully dispose of all banned weapons should be erased. "This has been the most positive sign yet," said Chief Inspector Hanz Blix, "Our work is done."

There was never any threat

French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin, told the Security Council that this new sign of eagerness on the part of Hussein to abide by the 425 UN resolutions demanding he 'immediately' abide by the terms of disarmament should convince anyone that all of the world's fear are once and for all, over.

De Villepin:
De Villepin: "He nodded, too."

"Eet seems obvious now zat zere was nevair any zreat et all," he said. "I'm told zat Saddam may acshoeally have evehn geevehn a zlight nod as he raised hees eyebrow." Added to this are the reports that Saddam Hussein also might possibly have even pursed his lips as a further sign of his willingness to forsake using the 40,000 tons of deadly nerve gas he has loaded into the armed missiles he keeps connected to the big red button next to his bed.

China: He did this!!!

Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan in an unexpected show of emotion and exuberance demonstrated a gesture similar to the one Saddam Hussein is reported to have made.

Tang: "My hand stink rike dead baboon"

"Mmm mm mm-mm-mmm mm mm mm-mm," Tang said before remembering to remove his hand. He then added, "How can Amelica not lespect such a bratant dispray of sincelity and coopelation?"

When informed of this newest developments, as well as the world's response, President Bush is reported to have rolled his eyes rested his head in the palms of his hands while sighing and shaking his head. No report on what this gesture signifies.
