Education and the internet

Ohio has been offering online schools for students for a few years now. They call it ECOT or Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow.

I looked through the site and it looks really nice, but I would be hesitant to venture into any curriculum that's "authorized" by the state. As a homschooler on of my concerns is the trend toward Atheism, Humanism and the religion of Evolution that is promoted in government schools. Ohio's ECOT looks like just an online version of the same stuff the do in the regular government schools.

While there are plenty of sites out there with educational material, I use, for the most part LookListenLearn.org, primarily because I created it. It's a collection of the educational material I developed for my kids and put online for others to use. I also use the Mathematics Worksheet Factory from Schoolhouse Technologies. It's a very handy program that has helped fill in some of the gaps in the math curriculum on LookListenLearn.org.
