Here's a good joke

After working himself ragged trying to coax them into nominating his mockumentary as best picture, Michael Moore is snubbed by the Academy Awards – that’s the good news. The bad, and predictable, is that Mel Gibson’s The Passion was nominated for only three minor Oscar nominations for makeup, cinematography and score.

Again the Academy Award is exposed for the fraud it is. It’s a joke. It has nothing at all to do with how good a movie or an actor or a director is, but what mood the nimwits that nominate and select the entries are in at the moment. Why bother? They lost any respect they might have had from me when I noticed how few awards when to Steven Spielberg. Now they’re just confirming my opinion in the most pitiful way imaginable.
