Okay, so like -- here's the deal...

I been busy, obviously (if you check in on my other sites) and blogging has been pushed way, waaay back to the back burner. I'm kicking myself for not making it more of a consistent priority all along because other blogs with (IMO) less entertaining content -- but consistent material -- are blossoming and actually producing a profit for the owners.

I used my message boards (the script which I wrote myself) rather than the comment feature of Movable Type, and I think that's reduced the amount of comments I would have gotten. So I need to re-assess the set up. I'd like to upgrade this script, and perhaps start giving a little time each day to bloggin, but in all honesty I never saw blogging as some sort of psychological release the way some apparently do. I never saw it as any sort of ego booster (Jack Lewis isn't even my real name). I just have a yearn for creativity, politics, Christianity, good debate, etc. and saw it as a way of combining those. But I felt guilty devoting time to it when I could have been spending the time in more (what I assumed were) productive areas.

I have a lot of new sites: BytheFireplace.com  •  phpBible.org  •  TulsaTalk.net  •  SpelChek.com and have been working on upgrading the sites I already have.

So my New Year's resolution will be to try my best to do a little bit every day. One way would be to not insist that I write a full column. No one does that, daily, that I know of. Maybe I'll set a certain day of the week aside to write a full length column.

Anyway, thought I'd let you all know how things stand.
