James Taranto notes the hypocrisy of California's "educational" system which has just decided to allow students with asthma, and a note for their doctor, to carry their inhalers rather than have someone rush to the nurse's office while they gasp during an asthma attack. "Meanwhile," says Mr. Taranto:

"Fox News reports that 'California schools are forbidden from telling parents when their kids leave class to seek "confidential medical treatment"--including drug counseling and even abortion, according to the state attorney general's office.'"
