Exit Terri, enter the Fourth Reich
From Joel Katzman, Pg.D. in MichNews.com:
Terri Schiavo convicted of the brutal and unspeakable “crime” of being disabled, and perhaps having once said that she would not like to go on living if disabled, is finally being brought to “justice” (following years of appeals against her death sentence). Condemned to death by the courts and many of the “humanitarians amongst us, Terri slowly and “peacefully” starves and dehydrates to death in her prison cell as ordered by the courts. The appeals to stay the execution of this capital “criminal” of criminals were repeatedly denied in the interest of the “law”, “states rights”, and the societal necessity to keep the religious amongst in check, despite the many “beyond-a-reasonable-doubt” issues in this case. And, finally it looks like justice will be served for those who obsessively and fervently cheer on the executioners; clarity has finally been achieved.
Now we know, beyond a reasonable doubt that we can be clear about those amongst us who have earned the title of “little Eichmanns” (a college professor’s characterization of the World Trade Center’s 9/11 victims). We can clearly recognize those amongst us that have risen to the heights of becoming the proud members of a rejuvenated Nazi-like SS death squad with all the rights and privileges thereof, and including the adorning of the “death head” symbol (skull and cross bones) on their lapels. And, now it is very clear that “noble” distinction does not go to George Bush and his supporters, or the victims of 9/11, as many leftists/liberals or “progressives” would like you to believe. Sadly, it is taking this horrifying and evil execution process against Terri Schiavo to bring out from amongst us all those who have earned the right of passage into a vital force that seems worthy of the distinction of a “Fourth Reich”.
Do read the rest. It cuts right to the heart of the issue.
