Freedom of the press?

From NewsMax:

In his new book, "Taking Heat," former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer turns the tables on the media he battled for four long years, blasting mainstream reporters by name for their liberal bias and inaccurate reports.

Now, understand Fleishcer rips the NYTs pretty hard, as well as other MSM outlets. After all the whining the MSM do about conflict of interest and full disclosure, do you think they'd practice what they preach and offer an outsider to review the book rather than one of their own employees -- yeah, right.

From Editor&Publisher:

Wasting no time in dismissing a book published just today, The New York Times on Tuesday reviewed “Taking Heat,” the memoir by former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer. Veteran Times critic Michiko Kakutani called it “tedious and tendentious” and a “sorry volume,” and that was just for starters.

Sure, we believe you Michiko...(...not)
