Greer: obstructing justice?

From The Empire Journal:

DCF has placed the court on notice that it is conducting an investigation into some 30 allegations of abuse, neglect and exploitation in the Schiavo case received by the agency’s hotline.

The social services agency is seeking a 60-day stay on Greer’s order that will allow estranged husband and guardian Michael Schiavo to remove her feeding tube on March 18.

In that the agency is statutorily mandated to investigate the allegations and has 60 days to complete its investigation, Greer is legally bound to grant the stay.

If he refuses to do so, it could be perceived that Greer is impeding an investigation, obstructing justice and, to put it rather indelicately, tampering with evidence by ordering Terri Schiavo’s death.

Interesting twist, although in today's atmosphere of judicial totalitarianism, I don't think Greer will care. He's a judge...therefore in his mind he's an omnipotent ruler over the lives of those mere mortals misfortunate enough to come under his jurisdiction.
