Michael Schiavo the wife beater

CodeBlueBlog is reporting that an analysis of Terri medical records amply demonstrates that she was the victim of violence after she was admitted to the hospital.

FoxNews this morning, in their continued effort to regurgitate the lies of Terri's would be murderers, called Michael Schiavo a compassionate husband because after her collapse he decided to go to nursing school. If one were wanting to learn the best way to kill someone in a hospital, without getting caught, where would one go? Hmmmm -- maybe NURSING SCHOOL!!

I've seen it before. Someone with nurse's training stands to inherit money. Relatives start dying unexpectedly. My question is this -- after all the idiocy coming from the MSM, including FoxNews, isn't their referring to Terri Schiavo as brain damaged pretty much the pot calling the kettle black?

There's something very, very fishy here. Even if Greer is fruit loop enough to think he IS the law, why is everyone playing along with him?

Posted by: MARY at March 24, 2005 08:51 AM

From day one my gut instinct tells me that Michael Schiavo hurt Terri and to this day continues to hurt and scare her. How come no one is in her room with him at his "bedside vigil"? Now that Michael Schiavo has Terri, his cash cow, where he wants her...someone should be in Terris' room when Michael Schiavo is in there. The best people to be with Terri now in that room are her family, esp. her Mother. Michel Schiavo
should not be alone with Terri.

Michael Schiavo, in "his love and devotion to Terri", is committing ongoing adultery with another woman and fathered two children. God forbid that anything ever happen to his new family...and Michael Schiavo is shut out. Michael might remember the saying "whatever goes around, comes around."

We continue to pray for Terri and her Schindler family.

My other instinct tells me that Michael Schiavo does not want Terri rehabilitated as she may find her voice and tell everyone what exactly happened to her so long ago...could that be?

Posted by: Judy Jewell at March 24, 2005 09:26 AM

Why isn't Michael investigated for the possible abuse allegations? Adult protective services should have been more involved.

Posted by: Brenda Valdes at March 24, 2005 09:54 AM

How far do you think 1.5 million dollars goes when you have someone that needs around the clock care? After all the years of care how much money do you think is left for Michael Shiavo to inherit? If as you are insinuating he is the cause of her condition to begin with how did he win the MEDICAL MALPRACTICE suit to begin with? Thank The Lord the Supreme court refuses to get involved with this case, it is between a husband and a wife. The fact is if it was all about money he could have gotten rid of her years ago without all the legal stuff. Now that her parents, pro lifers and media have made a mockery of the poor womans life how about if she now be allowed to die with a little private dignity?!

Posted by: Anonymous at March 24, 2005 10:46 AM

Greer should be happy with himself now. I wonder what if feels like to commit LEGAL murder. May he rot in hell for killing this woman.

Posted by: M. Little at March 24, 2005 12:56 PM

Uh, Michael Schiavo was investigated for spousal abuse allegations. None were found. Do you really think that Jeb Bush's state government wouldn't push those alleged allegations as far as it could? Do we add this to your judge conspiracy, your doctor conspiracy, and your appeals court conspiracy? I find it truly amazing that people who I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) consider themselves Christians, are so eager to slander this man. Michael Schiavo goes to nursing school? He's not out to help her, he wants to find a better way to kill her. Michael Shiavo files a malpractice lawsuit? He's not out to get money for his wife's care, he's out to enrich himself. You people truly lack any sense of decency whatsoever. I for one would love to see Michael Schiavo file a defamation suit against the whole lot of you. Terry Schiavo has been under medical care the entire time; you don't think her physicians would have noticed any abuse? You don't think her physicians were capable of diagnosing the cause of her current condition? You should all hope that you don't become the cause celebre of a hysterical minority. What would Jesus do? Surely not defame a man based on scurrilous rumors spread by those opposing the man in a lawsuit.

Posted by: Mike R at March 24, 2005 12:56 PM

Michael Schiavo was never investigated. What are you, on his payroll or something?

Posted by: Danny Carlton at March 24, 2005 01:27 PM

Ah, little old me: now a part of the Schiavo conspiracy. My family will be so proud.

When the court says the records are "sealed," do they mean "impounded"? If the Adulterer has been the guardian of Terri's estate for all these years and the money has all been used for her medical care, which curiously did not include any therapy, it should be a simple matter for the guardian's accounting provided to the court to be made public, thereby showing him to be an honorable person. Likewise, why not allow the medical records to be reviewed to show that she was not abused or neglected? I believe the Bible is the living Word of God and am thinking that there are other victims besides Terri and her family. Those who have been deciding she must die--the Adulterer and his people--may face the JUDGE one day. I pray she doesn't have to die so they are not guilty of murder. The starvation procedure has already done damage. I pray Christ has mercy on all of us. I love her family.

Posted by: Lulu at March 24, 2005 05:09 PM

If he LOVED Her so dearly he would have been next to her in the hospice instead of in some other womens bed making babies. He will get his in the end. Married and engaged to someone else....sounds like he is a very classy guy. I feel sorry for the next wife he KILLS!!! I can only hope that she comes back and haunts the hell out of him.

Posted by: Missy at March 24, 2005 05:21 PM

OH and also...why the hell won't he let her parents moisten her mouth?? I know why, he is afraid she may actually swallow a drop and stay alive an extra second....God forbid. Her family are very strong people and I respect them very much. I have 2 young daughters and I know that if I was Terri's mom I would have killed the SOB the first time he tried to kill her. I would have sat in jail the rest of my life with a smile on my face. Then Terri would be given to the state or her father and would be able to try and be saved.Christoper Reeve had a feeding tube...did anyone kill him??? NO they helped him and he improved. Sick bastards!!

Posted by: Missy at March 24, 2005 05:27 PM

On an earlier post someone ask "What would Jesus do?" Jesus most likely would have healed Terri. Jesus also had a way of speaking the truth, even if it went against the system or was in condemnation of someone who sins. Christianity may be about love, but it's also about fairness and punishment. Read the last few verses of the book of Revelation and continue to use the Bible in a cafeteria manner, picking and choosing what works for the moment.

People who think Michael Schiavo did all this because they can't believe a husband would do this only have to look at the Scott Peterson situation. Can you imagine if Laci had been strangled and survived and Scott had been appointed her guardian. I also think that when a circuit court judge can tell a parent they can't give their own child a glass of water, it is a sad commentary on our judicial system.

Posted by: D. Chatlos at March 25, 2005 11:23 AM

wow you people really don't understand oral dsypagia in a brain damaged pt. go ahead give a glass of water or an ice chip and watch it slip down her esophagus and she can drown on a glass of water--yeah that's much more humane. obviously i agree with court decisions to keep the tube out. but i wont even argue that, however, at some point for the Schindler's own sense of closure and to aide in the grieving years from now, don't you think at some point you need to accept that you have lost this battle and just concentrate on being with their daughter on her death bed?

Since 1990, Theresa has lived in nursing homes with constant care. She is fed and hydrated by tubes. The staff changes her diapers regularly. She has had numerous health problems, but none have been life threatening.

Over the span of this last decade, Theresa's brain has deteriorated because of the lack of oxygen it suffered at the time of the heart attack. By mid 1996, the CAT scans of her brain showed a severely abnormal structure. At this point, much of her cerebral cortex is simply gone and has been replaced by cerebral spinal fluid. Medicine cannot cure this condition. Unless an act of God, a true miracle, were to recreate her brain, Theresa will always remain in an unconscious, reflexive state, totally dependent upon others to feed her and care for her most private needs.
In a later opinion in the same case, the Second District further explained:

Although the physicians are not in complete agreement concerning the extent of Mrs. Schiavo's brain damage, they all agree that the brain scans show extensive permanent damage to her brain. The only debate between the doctors is whether she has a small amount of isolated living tissue in her cerebral cortex or whether she has no living tissue in her cerebral cortex.

a ice chip will not kill her. It would make her mother feel better and feel like she at least tried to make her feel better as she was starving to death. If you starve a dog to death...even if it hurt...you go to jail for animal cruelty. Why can you starve a human being...it is not humane. What a way to die. No one can say that she can or can not feel pain. Because no one is inside her body feeling it. She could be fully aware of everything but just can not speak or move. She may be screaming inside to stop this and that is what makes it so wrong. No one has the right to take someone else's life. If she can breathe on her own then she is alive. She needs help with food but that is not a reason to kill her. I wish her mother would kill Micheal and put him out of his lieing misery. She has to feel so guilty eating and drinking knowing that her daughter is starving to death. If they do not make a final decision soon it will be to late. Her organs will start shutting down soon and then it will be to late. Maybe when Michael goes to kill his next wife he will be smarter and make her write a will before he does it saying she wants everything to go to him. I bet if it was his daughter laying there, someone he cares about, he would not deny her food.

What I would like to know is what business is this to any of you? Are you part of this woman's family? Where were you before all of the media circus started? It is sad to see people jump on a band-wagon issue & start pushing their beliefs on others. For those of you who claim to be Christians here, shame on you for judging anyone. Who are you to judge? Last I heard, God was th ultimate judge, not man. As several sane people have stated here, let this family alone & let what needs to be done be done is peace. It is between two families, not a million people. All of you who are so quick to judge, I would hate for something like this to happen in your family & you would be faced with this heart-breaking decision of letting a loved one go & doing what is best.

"No one has the right to take someone else's life"

"I wish her mother would kill Michael and put him out of his lieing misery."

So typical.

I know that Justice is blind. Is it also on vacation?

Posted by: Lulu at March 25, 2005 05:33 PM

........No, but it could sure USE a vacation.......

....seeing as how it's been through court system(s) A BAZILLION TIMES WITH THE SAME DECISION EVERY TIME.

Posted by: Boomslang at March 25, 2005 06:16 PM

As human beings on this planet, each one of us makes judgements on a daily basis. To assert that any type of judging is wrong is absurd (and hypocritical since those supposedly condemning judging are also making a kind of judgement).

I cannot think of a more crucial life and death situation which should engage our minds and hearts. I first began to follow this case two years ago and applied the same principles that I applied to jury duty: the physical evidence, the reliability of the witnesses (whose character seems more trustworthy v. who seems conflicted or has something to gain).

The nurses who have given their affidavits seem very reliable. They are straightforward in their testimony and have nothing to gain.

Michael, on the other hand, has contradicted himself many times, even in his interview on Larry King. During one moment he expressed that he was trying to do what Terri wanted, in another, he admitted he she never indicated what she wanted (in case of a situation like this).
His proclamation about her "wishes" 10 years after the fact always strained credulity. A man with a mistress doesn't seem like much of a loving husband, even in this liberal day and age.
One of the nurses who testified on Fox this evening also confirmed that before Michael S.'s assertion that Terri wanted to die, she had, in fact NOT told him her wishes.
His behavior, including his "do not rescutate" after he was awarded his money, has not been consistent with someone who truly cares for his wife.

A person can play act and say anything, but actions really do speak louder than words.

Many more things could be brought forward.

For those who would try and silence our voices, we will not be silenced. Even if Michael is granted his wish and Terri dies, this is not over. The repercussions will follow for years to come.

I believe people will look deeper into Judge Greer's performance. I have never seen a public servant or public figure so power hungry who could be characterized as "the man who would be king." There is suggestion of impropriety by his acceptance of campaign contributions from attorneys associated with Michael Schiavo after his 2004 ruling. The truth will come out.

For now I have stopped pledging the flag. Until justice is done, ours is not a nation "under God."

This whole situation is totally out of control!
If police find a starving animal at someones' home, whether the animal be unconcious or whatever the situation, the owners are immediately arrested and sentenced with animal cruelty!
Have we stooped so low in our society that an animals' life is more important than a human life?
How can ANYONE justify purposely starving and dehydrating a human being til they die!?! She is breathing!! She is alive! For Gods' sake, let her parents take care of their daughter! They gave her life!!! Let them continue to give her life! Her husband gave up his rights when he slept with and had children with another woman WHILE his wife lay sick and needing help!
He only wants whats best for her? GOOD GRIEF! Only her parents know that whats best for her is to let THEM continue to care for their baby!
I just can not get over this! It has me so bound up with every emotion possible.
I am a mother of 4 children. None of them are married but they are getting close to that age.
Just let one of their husbands or wives pull something like this...they will never know what hit them! These are MY babies...and until I am dead, I have a responsibility to them to be here for them no matter what!
This is what her parents are trying to do! Just let them take care of her!
Her husband needs to step down. If her parents want to continue to take care of her, what is it hurting???? The only thing it is hurting is his wallet from what I can see. He is the ONLY person to gain from her torture/death.

I have lost all faith in our justice system. When our system can allow such inhumane treatment of one of our own citizens, to allow someone to be put to death via starving them to death, all because they have been told 'this is what she would have wanted'..is a crime!
NOBODY knows what she would have wanted because she is trapped in a body that refuses to let her VOICE be heard. But is that a reason to kill her??
SHE deserves to LIVE! as we all do!

I cry for her....and I sincerely pray for everyone that has her blood on their hands. What will they say...how will they explain this to the FINAL judge???

The day she dies will be a dark and sad day for all of us...God help us!

My prayers are with her parents and everyone that is fighting and praying for her to be saved!

Someday michael schiavo will die. Hopefully, he will be old and helpless and someone will accidentally step on his oxygen line for a fraction of a second too long. At that point, he will get his. Everything will be revealed, for all to see, shouted from the rooftops. All those things he did in secret will be manifest completely. HIs abuse, his lies, his stealing, his lies, his adultery, his lies, his torturously evil behavior, his lies, his sick soul's fetid decaying stench, his lies. After the millstone is tied around his neck and he is cast into oblivion for eternal torture, he will wish that he was something more than a violent sack of crap. But alas, it will be too late.

Oddly enough at one time the governer gave one of Terri's previous guardian ad litems 30 days to do a review and make a recommendation. 30 days! To review 30,000 pages of documents. Not much simple reading in that 30,000 pages of medical test results, medical studies, doctors statements and legal pleadings, etc. 3,000 pages per day of the stuff. And spending time on both sides and with Terri.

But he used the 30 days and then he made his recommendation.

On web sites pertaining to and about Terri I have found maybe 50 pages of the documentation. Out of the hours of video tape probably no more than 2 minutes is posted anywhere. Generally the media has played the same 5 seconds over and over.

When people describe Michael they use pretty much the same 4 words- Adulterer, Bigamist, abuser and murderer.

The new rallying cry? "JUDICIAL TYRANNY"

Whats my point?

30,000 pages but maybe 50 available online to review.

One man took 30 days with her parents, her siblings and her husband and said he could have used even more time because he wanted to know them better than what the 30 days had afforded him.

Most people making commentary didn't even know who Terri was until 1 week ago and no one posting blog messages or calling in to talk radio has even met Terri or anyone around Terri. But its okay to talk about them like you know them.

OHHHH, you met them in the media and that makes them so very real in your life now and their pain is your pain, when they lose you lose...

I have read the quoting of all the "thou shalt not" commandments.

Not once have I read "let he who is without sin cast the first stone".

Which was said by a man who sat down to dinner with some of the most despised people around and managed to get through the meal without a single hateful word escaping his lips.

By the way that would be the same guy who has prepared a room for Terri in his fathers mansion. The view will be better from her new room.

I cannot believe all of this is happening! I truely wish someone would "get rid" of that sorry S.O.B! That sick pig will get his someday! As for Judge Greer............may he rot in hell. I am not even American.....I am a Canadian who sees Terri as a person, not some vegetable. Having a sister with Cerebral Pasly has made me feel compassion for Terri and others who have no voice. All of you people who support that pig posing as a caring husband should read about what she was like before the "ACCIDENT" and think about all those unanswered questions that most don't seem to care about. I pray for Terri everyday and I just hope that she will be at peace. AS FOR YOU MICHAEL, JUDGE GREER AND MICHEALS LAWYER (YOU KNOW, THE ONE THAT OWNES THE VERY HOSPICE SHE'S DYING IN) I wish you a life of unhappiness and a death of agony!

"and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us.

Lead us not into temptation but DELIVER US FROM EVIL"

If we allow these events, and even these people, to make us hateful in our hearts then THEY HAVE ALREADY WON.

How can we be delivered from evil when we have evil in our hearts?

Jesus was able to speak to the darkest heart because his heart was pure.

Do dark words cast light in the darkness?

Michael is a KILLER! If he promised to "provide the necessary care for her for the rest of her life to win a malpractice suit and ended up KILLING HER, he should be made to pay back all the money. Michael was probably collecting Terri's Social Security, he was the "community spouse", her income could be diverted to him. He KIlled her. And yes, what goes around comes around. I was not aware until just recently that she turned her head and moved her body. And they claim this was a reflex....It was, a conscious reflex. And his new girlfriend, should be ashamed of her dirty self. What the hell was she doing visiting Terri? That was disregarding her right to privacy and very disrespectful. And a divorce should have been granted to her. AGain, what goes around comes around. It may not be him or his siblings or his parents. It may be his kids. But I have no doubt that he will feel some of the pain that her family has feels. He cradled her head, happy she was dying, after and prior to going home screwing his "other woman". And then to have her cremated and taken somewhere her soul knows nothing about. It is all to "get back at her parents". He did something to her and I hope he pays real soon. I hope that once the autopsy results are released, he, his lawyer and the judge are charged w/murder. And why in the hell would girlfriend, want to have a family with someone like that. Is she not scared? Will her "brothers" suspect Michael if something happens to her and those children. Stupid, stupid, stupid and Michael is a killer, killer, killer.

My account, etc. of Terri Schindler's Funeral Mass:

Posted by: pc93 at April 9, 2005 06:06 PM

I'm sorry for the people who think this is ok, and as for the government stepping in, if it were your family member and you thought someone had hurt them and was killing them you would think twice about this situation. I'm sure This man beat her and gave her help until he got his money and then hoped she never could talk to tell that he hurt her. This could be your child, mother or sister in this state and how would you feel then?
I believe the Judge should step down and Mr. Felos and Michael should all be held for murder. Mr Felos will be back at his job at the Hospice so he can kill another patient. He's evil right along with the husband. The judge should not call himself conservative as he is not. God will punish them all and I hope we hear it in the news.
I also am ashamed a this point to be called an american.

Posted by: Connie at April 12, 2005 07:43 AM

Will the autopsy report be made public, or does Michael control that too?

Posted by: Anonymous at April 14, 2005 12:21 AM

Please, please do not let Terri die in vain. I for one, would be willing to donate to a legal fund for a full investigation into the events surrounding her accident. I just can't believe that this jerk, (husband) is going to get away with it.

Posted by: JoAnn at April 21, 2005 03:32 PM

Well, it seems that Michael Schiavo has for the moment gotten away with murder. I have just revisited some information that was on Code Blue Blog regarding the timing of Terri's head injury. Think about it, the autopsy was inconclusive with regards to how Terri ended up in hospital. My thoughts on the issue have never changed. I think that she had been beaten at some point prior to her collapse. It is more than likely that the beating occurred when she and Michael had their fight. The other possibility is that Michael used the policeman's hold on Terri so that no marks were left on her body from the attempt to strangler her. I remain committed to these possibilities.

Well, now we learn that Michael Schiavo has married his tart, after living with her for almost the whole time that Terri was being deprived of the proper care that was required to bring her out of the minimally conscious state. So I started thinking about the possible reasons that MS has for marrying the tart, and it suddenly struck me that perhaps he is worried that this woman might one day turn on him and testify about what really happened. Is it true that wives are still not permitted to testify against their husbands? What better motive for marrying a trollope who is only to happy to commit adultery as the other woman lies helpless in a nursing home bed, being denied access to proper medical care and treatment.

Food for thought, and just expressing my disgust over the marriage of Schiavo and his concubine.

Posted by: Maggie4Life at January 23, 2006 03:40 AM

Find this all a bit sick - facts selectively being chosen out of context and wrapped in emotive language probably linked to venting the authors' own personal issues.
Tart - concubine- trollope [sic] - strangler -jerk - murderer... etc - Consideration of Terri seems to be missing in most of the email constructions - there seems to be a need for people to blame someone and this need has nothing to do with the case. If the individuals who are so het up about Terri showed half as much care about other humans starving to death in Sudan etc [without any medical involvement] they could do a lot more good.

A lot of stone casting going on.
