Speaking of Child Porn
James Joyner reports on the former leader of the Boy Scouts being charged with possessing child porn. I'll wait to see exactly what they have on him. Planting pictures on someone's computer is ridiculously easy, and there are plenty of people with motive to do such a thing to the Boy Scouts. Maybe he did it, but then maybe he didn't. There have been plenty of other frame-ups that sound similar to this. It wasn't until Windows XP Second Edition that outlook express stopped automatically downloading pictures linked in email. pictures encoded into the message, however are still downloaded. Once they're there, they're on your computer, and if you don't know where to go to delete all of them -- guess what -- you're guilty of possession of child porn.
