Jack, I am compelled to point out that the Massachusetts Democrat reps who failed to file their tax returns (several for multiple years) were not rich. In fact, one of them, a freshman who had just taken office, claimed that the reason he didn't file was that he had been out of work and therefore "didn't have to" file. All of those who hazarded any comment (always a challenge for most reps) assured us that no harm was done because they were entitled to refunds anyway. I'm going to take a leap and assume this wasn't because of sharp schemes to shelter huge sums of money, but rather because the no-accounts didn't make that much money in the fist place.
