Allowing terrorists to dictate US policy

Hamas warned yesterday against any American attempt to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, saying such a move, currently being debated by the U.S. Congress, would spark immediate violence throughout the Middle East.

Jerusalem has been Israel's capital for quite some time. That we have yet to recognize it as such is down right stupid. Why in the world are we allowing a bunch of third-world thugs to tell us what capital we can recognize?
