Does Dean have no shame?

Howard Dean, who arguable has become the best thing for the GOP since Ronald Reagan, is at it once again. At a breakfast meeting sponsored by Access Now for Gay and Lesbian Equality (ANGLE), (Please note the irony of a group who is able to get the chairman of the Democrat Party to attend their breakfast meeting, complaining of lack of “access”) said, “[W]e're going to use Terri Schiavo later on.” in defending the DNC's current attacks on Bush's Social Security Reforms.

“This is going to be an issue in 2006, and it's going to be an issue in 2008, because we're going to have an ad with a picture of Tom DeLay saying, ‘Do you want this guy to decide whether you die or not? Or is that going to be up to your loved ones?’”

Yeah, right, Howard, that’ll convince the Average Joe’s out there. Sure. Keep up the “good work.” With you at the helm the GOP will very solidly cement their hold on power.

Now look people think about, the Dem's need to do something to get back in the house. What a better way than showing how the Reps want Church and state together because it will keep them in power. Just look the Reps won't allow gay and lesbians to marry because it is their religion. Now I know your thinking it's up to the states, but the fact is the Reps. in the U.S. government won't let regular people such as those of gays and lesbians have their constitutional rights. No I am not gay if that's what your thinking, but I have friends who are and I believe in their rights.

How is trying to save Terri Schiavo's life putting Church and State together? She was killed at the behest of an adulterous husband and an uncaring judge. Many non-religious people saw that as wrong. Do you really think Ralph Nader is part of the Religious Right?

Just look the Reps won't allow gay and lesbians to marry because it is their religion.

Most Americans oppose same-sex marriage. While it is based in religion for some people, it's based in simple desire to maintain the healthy societal protections for marriage and the family.

Now I know your thinking it's up to the states, but the fact is the Reps. in the U.S. government won't let regular people such as those of gays and lesbians have their constitutional rights.

There is no Constitutional right to marry someone of the same gender.

No I am not gay if that's what your thinking, but I have friends who are and I believe in their rights.

You BELIEVE? And you want to impose your BELIEF on the rest of us, and whine about Republicans imposing religion while doing it. Unbelievable!
