Al Quada may be in Nicaragua
From CNN:
Nicaragua warned on Tuesday that two al Qaeda terror suspects were believed to be in Central America and tightened its borders to prevent them from entering the country.
Neighboring El Salvador, a close U.S. ally which has a small batch of troops in Iraq, also put its borders on alert after the Nicaraguan warning.
In a brief statement, Nicaragua's Interior Ministry said one of those possibly in the region was Ahmed Salim Swedan, a Kenyan wanted for the U.S. Embassy bombings in Africa in 1998 that killed more than 200 people.
My wife leaves Saturday for a week long mission trip to Nicaragua. Now I have even more stuff to worry about. Please pray for her, her team and all the people who will be going down there. There will be doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and sometimes veterinarians going to help the more poverty stricken areas with needs they would otherwise be unable to have met.
