Alleging bias, Republican chairman of PBS calls for fairness

From the New York Times:

The Republican chairman of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is aggressively pressing public television to correct what he and other conservatives consider liberal bias, prompting some public broadcasting leaders - including the chief executive of PBS - to object that his actions pose a threat to editorial independence.

In the same way that Liberals see no bias in the MSM while whining about bias of Fox, they'll do the same thing here. PBS (emphasis on the BS) has been the propaganda tool of Liberals and Evolutionists for decades. About the only thing I ever watch on it is This Ole House and the occasional old movies they show on Friday and Saturday nights. I gave up on any real science in their “science” programs. My kids and I watched when NOVA did a thing on the string theory, but I had to continually point out to my kids when they wandered away from fact into theory..and they wandered into some pretty wild theories on that program. Real science makes a clear distinction between fact and theory, but with the subjugation of “science” by Evolutionist zealots, that's been pretty much ignored.

Personally, I'm all for tossing PBS off the taxpayer gravy train. Why in the world are we subsidizing Sesame Street when the copyright owners turn around and make billions off merchandizing every single aspect of the show?
