Atheists complain Air Force Academy has “climate of intolerance” because Christians still have a few rights remaining

Both CNN and FoxNews are reporting that the US Air Force has appointed a “task force” to investigate claims by anti-Christian bigots that because Christians at the Air Force Academy are still not completely censored, “religious intolerance” exists. Okay, neither CNN nor Fox used those words because they're treating bigots like the hate-mongering Americans United for Separation of Church and State as a legitimate group.

As I reported earlier, over the course of 4 years, 55 of the students attending the Air Force Academy, which generally has well over 4,000 students enrolled each year, complained of such abuses as a Jewish cadet being called Christ Killers and another being told the Holocaust was God's revenge for Christ's death. (neither belief is in any way reflective of the vast majority of Christians) but obviously all Christians must be punished for two pseudo-Christian nutcases.

Another accusation is that some Christians apparently believe non-Christians will go to hell. (Atheist believe we are descended from pond scum, which is such a nicer thought, isn't it.) The hate-mongering Americans United for Separation of Church and State apparently feels it is the government's job to monitor the religious thoughts of AF cadets. (I know the irony of that statement will be totally lost on Liberals and most Libertarian types)

CNN treats Americans United as a legitimate “non-partisan” group, presumably they would treat similar hate-based groups like the KKK and the Aryan Nation the same way. The report the AUSCS filed with the Air Force is sadly being treated seriously:

The report said it found that non-Christian cadets are subjected to "proselytization or religious harassment" by more senior cadets; and that cadets of other religions are subject to discrimination, such as being denied passes off-campus to attend religious services.

Same thing happens every day in government school with the religion of Evolution.

The report said that in at least two cases "highly qualified individuals were dissuaded from attending the academy ... after learning of the official culture of religious intolerance and hostility toward those who do not subscribe to and practice evangelical Christianity.

"When the Air Force is denied the service of the country's best and brightest young people because they feel excluded from the academy by religious intolerance, the armed forces and the nation as a whole are weakened," the report said.

I hardly think the Air Force is suffering because a couple of anti-Christian bigots decided to take their hatred somewhere else. I also have a hard time believing the “best and brightest” would fall for such transparent anti-Christian bigotry as this idiotic report.

Reading either article will clearly show the complaints are silly, and nothing more than an effort by Christian bashers to silence those they disagree with.
