ADL demands apology from Durbin
The Anti-Defamation League has called on Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin to apologize for comparing alleged abuses at Guantanamo Bay to torture and killing by the Nazi regime.
"Whatever your views on the treatment of detainees and alleged excesses at the Guantanamo Bay facility, it is inappropriate and insensitive to suggest that actions by American troops in any way resemble actions taken by Nazis in their treatment of prisoners," wrote ADL head Abraham Foxman in a letter to the Illinois lawmaker.
I heard some Democrat Liberal moron on Fox news yesterday attempting to defend the aptly named “Dick” Durbin (it was noted that he was the only Democrat they could get that would even attempt defending him). The Q&A went almost totally like this:
Question: Blah blah blah
Answer: Lets me rephrase that into something I'd prefer to answer.
It was pathetic. It seems these idiots have the notion that since they insist they're right, they can say any outlandish and offensive thing they want to and it's excusable since, in their minds, Bush has done soooo much worse.
If anyone else were doing it, it would be referred to as Machiavellianism (an explanation of why the term is misused can be found here, second to the last paragraph)
