It amazes me how people could get on Senator Byrd who has turned over a new leaf and apologizes while these same critcs enjoy the The racist cable network, (The Fox Network) racist hate radio (WABC ) and the daily racist rants from Lou Dobbs on CNN . I personally have no problem with people who have committed past sins and are sorry for them. However the promotion of the networks to constantly tell us who we should hate I do have a problem with. Oh yeah and it is laughable to see those who criticize the repentant sinner the most.Let’s see their is Rush Limbaugh, Sean Insanity, Bill O’Rightwing, and dozens of lawmakers who voted against affirmative action and MLK holiday. Go figure.

Well, the complaint about Byrd is not as much that he's still a racist as much as it is that the Democrats have a double standard when it comes to the definition of race, as you have most aptly demonstrated by so readily tossing it around against people who've never done anything racist, while ignoring people who have done and said quite a bit of racists stuff, like Howard Dean, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and Jesse Jackson.
