In defense of Rick Santorum

Some people just didn't get what Santorum was saying when he blamed Boston's acceptance of immorality as having an influence on the Catholic church's recent sex abuse scandals. I did get it, and agree with him, but don't see it as just a Boston problem, and also don't think it in any way excuses the priests who abused people, nor the Catholic church's decade long cover-up of the problem.

Gets it: Kathryn Lopez, Paul Mirengoff, Jay Tea
