John Roberts
Trent Lott claims Roberts is bound by Roe v. Wade.
Judge Roberts has acknowledged that Roe v.Wade, the case which legalized abortion in the early 1970s, is the law. In keeping with his core conservative philosophy of interpreting the law as written, he is bound by it.
I thought Lott was smarter than that. If 5 justices can invent a woman's right to murder her baby, then why would Roberts not have the equal right to decide (as did 4 of the 9 in Roe v Wade) that the Constitution guarantees no such thing?
