O.J. asked to leave sports convention booth
From the Chicago Tribune...
O.J. Simpson's surprise appearance Saturday at a sport collectors convention in Rosemont was cut short.
Turns out dealers at The National: The 26th annual Sports Collectors Convention are not allowed to have unscheduled autographers at their booths.
Former NBA star Dominique Wilkins also was asked to stop signing, convention Director Bob Byer said Saturday.
But before leaving, Simpson signed 115 autographs (at $100-$125 apiece) and posed for numerous pictures. He stayed at Justin Communications' booth about 75 minutes.
The nerve of these sports figures. They think they can just get away with murder, don't they.
