Ten year-old Joshua Heldreth, the eldest of eight children, was arrested on Good Friday of this year for trespassing while attempting to bring a drink of water to Miss Terri Schaivo. Days later Schiavo died of intentional dehydration. In court Joshua pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 25 hours of community service and ordered to write an apology for his actions.

Josh's parent's aren't sure the letter will be accepted. I'd like to think we could have a nice big blog swarm if they don't accept it and expose the hypocrites who murder helpless women then punish children for trying to defend them.

Go read his entire letter. It's very touching, considering it was written by someone so young. Joshua has a better sense of what's right and what's wrong than many of the adults who were involved with the case.
