BlogAdSwap launched!

My new site, BlogAdSwap is officially launched today. This is a simple ad exchange site, where you get 1 free ad of your own displayed for every 2 ads from the network of members, shown on your blog. We already have quite a few blogs on board, and the responses from the bloggers participating has been very positive.

Another surprise is the amazing clickthrough ratio. I'm used to getting one click for every 3,000 to 10,000 impressions on other ad programs. So far the click through ratio has been one click for every 70 to 80 impressions. Part of that may be the very selective categories available. It tends to allow ads to be focused on a more concrete segment of the blogosphere, where the interests run toward the type of blog being advertised.

Sign up is easy, and all you have to do to participate after signing up is to put the ad script on your blog. And...you start off with 500 free ads credited to your account!

Wish I had time to figure your blog-ad program out... I don't know if I have the time to create an ad. The idea is great. Glad you've had such success with it. :)

OK, I've wasted almost an hour, but it wasn't really that hard to use your blogadswap ad creator at all. :) Thanks for the neat tool, Danny.

I saw your ad. It looks good.

Danny, great idea, and of course I signed up.

Quick suggestion though, you might want to add a few more categories once you get more users signed up.

Case in point, my blog is mostly automotive related, there's no easy category in your current list to choose it (or exclude it).
