More schoolchildren attacked by Moslems in Indonesia

From AsiaNews...

Two 17-year-old girls were shot by two unidentified men in Indonesia's Central Sulawesi Province on Tuesday evening, the second incident in 10 days in the riot-torn region.

Three Christian girls were beheaded in late October.

Central Sulawesi Police Chief Oegroseno told Kyodo News that the girls -- one from an economic senior high school and the other from a Christian senior high school -- were shot by the men riding a motorcycle in the town of Poso, which is dominated by Muslims.

"They were on their way home when they were attacked at 7:45 p.m.," Oegroseno said.

One of the victims is a Muslim, one a Christian.

According to Oegroseno, the two were shot in the cheek and both underwent surgery. One remains in a comma.

It is not immediately clear if the incident was religiously motivated.

On Oct. 29, three 15-year-old Christian girls were beheaded by a group of unidentified men carrying machetes.

That's why our guys are in Iraq and Afghanistan, so this kind of stuff doesn't happen here. Indonesia is dominated by Moslems, so little is done to really fight the extremism, thus the continues persecution of Christians, even, as in this case, it inevitably hurts Moslems.
