Spinning the news, Liberal style
The story is, as I mentioned yesterday, that Judge David F. Crow has ruled that the Florida officials on a fishing expedition to find any kind of soil on Rush Limbaugh's bedclothes are not allowed to question Rush's doctors about his medical information. How does Associated Press/Seattle Post-Intelligencer pose the story?
Limbaugh's doctors can be subpoenaed
Of course on into the article they eventually get around to mentioning...
Judge David Crow ruled that Florida laws do not prevent doctors from talking with prosecutors if the discussion is relevant to the prosecution of a crime. [emphasis added]
In other words, the doctors can't be forced to reveal any medical information, which would be the only reason the prosecutors would have for talking with them in the first place, wouldn't it?!?
