DeVito claims he wasn't drunk
From KTVX, ABC 4 in Utah...
Danny DeVito is speaking out about his recent boozing controversy, insisting he wasn't drunk when he appeared on the TV show The View.
Speaking about the appearance publicly for the first time Monday night, the pint-sized star told movie executive-turned-talk show host Michael Eisner he was just tired and joking when he sat on Rosie O'Donnell's lap, although it seemed as if he was drunk after a night out with George Clooney.
He told Eisner, "I was a little groggy and I said, 'I think it was the seventh limoncello that got me,' but I was joking... That was apparent to everybody."
So let me see if I understand this correctly. DeVito is admitting that he can be that stupid without the help of alcohol?
