FireFox is now blocked from this and many of my other sites
PLEASE NOTE: Any future comments from
someone who obviously has not read the post will be deleted.
UPDATE: (at the bottom of the entry)
FireFox allows and endorses the use of ad blockers. Most of the internet exists because people work hard to produce quality content in order to earn money from ads. Using ad blocking software to block all ads is stealing, no ifs, ands or buts. Every new script I come up with to keep people off my sites who use ad blocking software, the filter people come up with work arounds. They're my sites and if I don't want people using them that use ad blocking software then I darn well have the right to keep them off. Since the crooks who made the plug-ins, software and filters can't seem to ge that through their thick skulls, I'll simply block all FireFox users.
If Mozilla is so dishonest to endorse ad blocking, then you'd be better off using a diffrerent browser anyway.
I strongly suggest other site owners to also block FireFox users in order to end this thievery.
Many FireFox users already use plugins to disguise the fact that they're using FireFox, so obviously they're ashamed of it. Masking plug-ins will reduce Mozilla's profits as their strength on the internet will not be accurately graphed. So the more people who swtich from FireFox or shamedly hide it, the more it hurts Mozilla. Maybe then they'll realize that dishonesty doesn't pay.
UPDATE: Thanks to Don Singleton for pointing out IE Tab, which allows FireFox users to use the IE rendering engine to view pages. It prevents FireFox from being detected, which means viewing the site through IE Tab will prevent the blocking script from detecting you, but even better, it disables FireFox's ad blocking plug-ins. Here more information about IE Tab, and here's the link to add it.
