Trying the comprehend the PC pecking order

One of the protected concepts of Political Correctness, is rape. As I noted last week, Liberals had a fit when a judge ruled that the forcing a prostitute to have sex was not rape, but armed theft of services. Liberals also feel that rape is so important that the false imprisonment of men is worth allowing women the freedom to make accusations completely free of any repercussions because of the "trivial" factor that they might be false.

However it appears that another PC bete noir trumps rape, even the rape of children.

Since June 2006, police said the Chandler Rapist has sexually assaulted five girls between the ages of 12 and 14 in the area around Andersen Junior High School. In each case, Griner said the attacker threatens his victims with a weapon and then sexually assaults them.

Police said another incident on Thursday could be the work of the same attacker. An intruder broke into a home in the 1600 block of West Temple Street and attacked a 15-year-old girl about 6 a.m. after her single father went to work....

Police describe the Chandler Rapist as Hispanic, 28 to 40 years old, short with a muscular build, dark hair and hazel or brown eyes. In Thursday morning’s home intrusion, the victim told police he was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

What are the PC Gestapo all in a tizzy about? Are they concerned that young girls are being raped? No, they are furious that the police are using the term "Hispanic" in describing the Hispanic rapist....

“I think this is racial profiling,” said Mayra Nieves, vice president of programming for KMYL (1190 AM).

Nieves said Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race -- and many Hispanics are white or black. She said ethnicity should not be used when describing an attacker. Instead she said she would describe the Chandler Rapist as having “dark skin.”

After all, if police are looking for a white Ford Bronco, should the police report describe the auto in oblique terms? (Such as calling the vehicle a "somewhat colorless, large American car that could be thought of as a sport utility vehicle, not that we are impugning all SUVs.")

We knew the PC book-burners feel the right to murder babies by abortion is more important that keeping children safe from pedophiles. Now we see that in their eyes calling someone Hispanic is worse than raping a child. What sick people.
