Why an Obama administration will be bad for American Blacks

The problem of race in America is one of smoke and mirrors. The opportunities Blacks claim they want, they have, which is obvious by the success of so many minority groups like Jews and Asians. Racial differences in employment and education come from the attitude of the "victim" not the "inherent racism" in the system. But while Conservatives have been trying to get Blacks to understand that for over 3 decades, Liberals enjoy the victim mentality which uses the disease itself as the "cure" which then perpetuates the disease, which they benefit from.

The attitude among whites in America range from feeding the problem like the race-baiting, pseudo-priest Michael Pfleger, to pretending to sympathize, as most Liberals do, to hoping Blacks will one day actually accept equality, as most Conservatives do, to disgust at the general hypocrisy of most Blacks, as a very large percent of whites do, to abandonment of any hope of a reasonable solution and embracing anti-Black racism, which the KKK does.

Obama has shown that he is among those perfectly willing to not only ignore the blatant, hate-filled racism of Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan, but go as far as endorsing them as men worth listening to and following, only abandoning them when it becomes politically inconvenient. But he's also perfectly willing to use the race card against the kind of imagined racial slights that whites grow increasingly angered about.

Rather than bringing any kind of improvement to the condition of Blacks in America, Obama will cement the problem that already exists. A problem of growing anti-white racism among many Black leaders combined with the attitude that white people are solely responsible for any and all problems that plague Blacks in America.

My prediction will be that while the KKK has shrunk to almost insignificance up until now, an Obama administration will swell their ranks as many who had previously shunned the overtly racist organization conclude that racism is perfectly acceptable, since Blacks can apparently be as racist as they want, and still be held up for admiration, and even be elected President. Those in the "disgust at the general hypocrisy" category will reconsider their position, and many will join the extreme.

Even now I'm seeing a growing divorce of reason among Blacks who are unable to see that when 90-95% of Blacks vote for Obama in the primaries, it's not the white voters who are basing their votes on the color of the candidates skin, it's the Black voters. If such is the case, who then is honoring Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy? Apparently not those who continue to hold parades for him in the voluntarily segregated sections of America's cities. Personally I imagine that Dr. King would have preferred American Blacks to judge people according to the content of their character, rather than judging people by the color of their skin, and pretending their honoring Dr. King by pushing to have every last street in the nation named after him.

An old Communist tactic, used when trying to force a person to embrace the state, was to get the person to commit an atrocious act, usual for fear of their life, in the name of the state, to show their dedication. But that act, once committed, could only afterward be excused if the state were indeed the ultimate authority. So having done something that is moral, only if the state is acknowledged to be the arbiter of morality forced the person to thereafter, zealously insist on the state's power, otherwise they'd have to face the reality that they themselves had committed a horribly immoral act.

To a somewhat lessor degree we can see the same thing happening here. Obama is obviously the least qualified of all the candidates and ultimately his sole qualification is the color of his skin. But the fervent desire by Blacks (and Liberal race-baiters) to finally have a Black president overwhelms their reasoning and they pretend he actually is a qualified candidate. But by doing so, they commit the very act the people involved on the 1960's Civil Rights protest wanted to end--judging people by the color of their skin. Even many Conservative, pro-life, Christian Blacks are betraying their convictions and supporting Obama. Few will have the courage to later admit they were wrong, and those who have intentionally fed the fire of racism to exploit Blacks will have gained even more ground. The religious underpinning of Black culture in America will be dealt a fatal blow.

If Barack Obama is elected president it will set back racial problems in this nation by decades.
