Can Obama lead? Apparently not
From the CNN (formerly known as the Clinton News Network)...
"Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin's performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president."
Obama said reporters should "back off these kinds of stories" and noted that he was born to an 18-year-old mother.
"How a family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn't be the topic of our politics, and I hope that anybody who is supporting me understands that's off-limits."
That was Sept. 1st.
Did Obama's supporters across the nation, those who claim he's leader enough to be President, follow his instruction and stop criticizing Bristol Palin and using her as a political tool?
Heck, no.
Obama's hometown paper, the Chicago Tribune thought so little of Obama's advice that on Sept 2nd they ran 7 stories about Pristol Palin's pregnancy...
1. The joke's on us and it's not funny
2. Sad day for Bristol Palin
3. Surprise pregnancy has Republicans off balance
4. With baby, principles matter most in Wasilla
5. Levi Johnston
6. McCain has opposed spending on teen pregnancy prevention programs, sex education
7. Levi Johnston to join Palin family at Republican convention
This morning they ran 6 more...
1. Levi Johnston to join Palin family at Republican convention
2. Too young to parent
3. Unmasking GOP
4. Palin faces a cultural crucible
5. Case renews abstinence-only debate
6. Judging Sarah Palin
If Obama's hometown newspaper is so willing to ignore his request to not exploit a 17-year-old girl, how is he supposed to lead the nation.
And that's not even looking at all the Liberal bloggers, outspoken supporters of Obama, who have ignored him and ran outrageously vile posts attacking the Palin's 17-year-old daughter.
These are the people who supposedly like Obama, and they ignore him. And they want us to believe he can lead the entire nation?!?
