So what, exactly is a Community Organizer?

Glad you asked.

Apparently a Community Organizer is this...

The Michigan branch of Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), located in Detroit, is being investigated after several municipal clerks reported fraudulent and duplicate voter registration applications coming through.

The majority of the fraudulent and duplicate applications are coming from the liberal ACORN group based in Detroit, Michigan, which now has ACORN investigating the problem once again as well as the Secretary of State's Office turning over some of those applications to the U.S. Attorney's Office....

Examples of the problems they are finding with some of the ACORN submitted applications are numerous applications filed in one name, described as a "huge number," and some with names that appear to be made up.

...and this...

...less than a week before the midterm elections, four workers from Acorn, the liberal activist group that has registered millions of voters, have been indicted by a federal grand jury for submitting false voter registration forms to the Kansas City, Missouri, election board.

...and this...

Eight workers for a get-out-the-vote effort in St. Louis city and county have pleaded guilty to federal election fraud for submitting false registration cards for the 2006 election, authorities said today.

The workers were employed by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), gathering voter registrations. U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway said they submitted cards with false addresses and names, and forged signatures.

..and this...

Two years ago ACORN submitted just over 1,800 new voter registration forms, but there was a problem. The names were made up — all but six of the 1,800 submissions were fakes....

John Jones, the head of ACORN’s Washington state office insists the situation was isolated

Isolated? Really?

Hat Tip: Stop the ACLU

I attempted to comment on the article linked to above. It's been over 48 hours and my comment has yet to appear. Apparently Danny Carlton doesn't like the idea of people filling in the blanks in his propaganda pieces.

Or maybe you're too stupid to know most blogging software will not publish comments with multiple URLs.

Also, the reason emails are required is to prevent people from anonymous posting. Fake emails are the same as no email.

Or maybe I'm smart enough to know that you could easily approve those messages, since you're using Movable Type 3.31 (you're a couple versions behind by the way, you should get on that). Not approving me because I'm posting anonymously seems a might hypocritical since I've been posting under this pseudonym now for more than a year. Of course, hypocrisy is something you're well known for.
