There's an old joke I heard a long time ago about a kid that buys some candy and gives the clerk a dollar to pay for it. The clerk hands the kid his change, and the kid, eyes glaring with suspicion, carefully counts the change. He gives the clerk another suspicious stare and counts the change again. When he begins the count for the third time the clerk finally asks, "Well, is it the right amount?"
The boy snaps back, "Yes, but just barely."
The Associated Press reports that a group of Alaska Democrats, who are also Obama supporters, held a farce of a hearing over Sarah Palin's firing of former Alaska public safety commissioner Walter Monegan and concluded that while she had more than ample, legitimate reasons to fire him--they're sure she also allowed some personal reasons to also influence her decision--therefore, in their determination, she violated the law.n
That they themselves have blatant, obvious, ulterior motives for deciding that way, seems to elude them, and the Ass. Press, as it will the MSM and the fellow Leftists over the next few days as they spew feigned outrage over Palin's "obvious" corruption.

Yeah, great detective work, I searched the article for any mention of the word "democrat" and "Obama" and found neither, it seems that you have fluffed this post up with a little bit of added value. The previous stories I had read about this hearing posted by the AP had stated that the Legislative Council was comprised of something like 10 republicans and 4 democrats. So it seems that you are just as guilty of slanting facts as the MSM. You can reference the committee here. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/16/gop-lawmakers-sue-to-stop_n_126901.html. Maybe the ulterior motives were exposing some facts about Sarah Palin with regard to her ethical and moral performance while in public office. I apologize for the implications that this clearly has for your candidates, but to cry partisan politics in this matter is clearly misguided. I suggest you remove the blatant untruths from this post, because it further deters your credibility and just makes this whole sham appear even more corrupted.
The Alaska Legislative Council is made of Obama supporters and GOP enemies Palin garnered over the years as her efforts to weed out corruption offended many entrenched GOP politicians. She's not all that popular among Alaskan, Republican insiders. They appointed Stephen Branchflower, who is a personall friend of Walter Monegan, the man Palin fired. The ALC appointed Hollis French (an Obama supporter) to "manage" Branchflower.

So, would a committee made entirely of Palin supporters been just? It also seems odd that during her "weeding out" of corruption, she got slapped with what very well me a lapse in ethical judgement. I am not saying that any candidate in the race is perfect, in fact I think our choices are pretty digusting. I just think that the circumstances in this particular case make Palin look a little less the golden child.
NOTE: I am under no obligation to preserve the incoherent mutterings of illiterate morons. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me, but make sure you actually know what you're talking about, or your comment will be removed.
