Are we losing Fox News?

I've been noticing lately that the news coverage on Fox news has been shifting to the left, alarmingly so. They seemed to be the ones most obsessed with reporting the rumors about Sarah Palin, and throughout the election season they seemed to be trying to hold back on fully reporting the problems with Obama's campaign.

Now we hear that they've fired E.D. Hill for reporting that some people called the Obama's fist jab, a terrorist symbol--reporting what others have claimed.

For some background, Here's what E.D. actually said (I had to upload it to YouTube myself, since apparently it doesn't matter what she said, only what morons thinks she said)...

Here's her apology, which she shouldn't have had to give in the first place...

Now Media Bistro reports...

TVNewser has learned veteran Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill will not be renewed when her current contract expires. Hill, who has been with Fox News for more than 10 years, will continue with the network for the next few months until her current deal expires.

SVP of Programming Bill Shine tells TVNewser that he "chose not to renew E.D.'s latest contract" but noted that "Hill has been a valued contributor to the success of FNC over the years, and we wish her all the best."

Hill has been without a regular Fox News program since June 16, when America's Pulse was replaced by two hours of Live Desk. Ten days earlier Hill used the term terrorist fist jab when promoting an upcoming body language segment that was going to look into the primary night fist bump shared by Barack and Michelle Obama.

One of Fox's best talking heads fired because some dimwits can't even comprehend the difference between saying something and reporting that someone else has said it? It certainly seems like Fox has been losing body parts, namely a backbone and a couple of other body parts that start with a "B".

Will they start twisting the news and wind up being just another MSNBC right when they're at the top, precisely because of their willingness to report the truth?
