Israel's weakness

Israel is so scrupulous about civilian life that, risking the element of surprise, it contacts enemy noncombatants in advance to warn them of approaching danger. Hamas, which started this conflict with unrelenting rocket and mortar attacks on unarmed Israelis -- 6,464 launched from Gaza in the past three years -- deliberately places its weapons in and near the homes of its own people.
This has two purposes. First, counting on the moral scrupulousness of Israel, Hamas figures civilian proximity might help protect at least part of its arsenal. Second, knowing that Israelis have new precision weapons that may allow them to attack nonetheless, Hamas hopes that inevitable collateral damage -- or, if it is really fortunate, an errant Israeli bomb -- will kill large numbers of its own people for which, of course, the world will blame Israel.
This ignores the practice Moslem terrorist use of killing innocent bystanders themselves, planting the bodies, then launching rockets from the rooftop of the building the bodies are planted in in order to "maximize" collateral damage. They then have a news crew of their own people standing by to cover the story and get the video into the eager hands of the Liberal Media. The bombing in Gaza is a bit to intense to allows stuff like that yet, but look for it before long.
At war today in Gaza, one combatant is committed to causing the most civilian pain and suffering on both sides. The other combatant is committed to saving as many lives as possible -- also on both sides. It's a recurring theme.
This isn't the picture the lying Left in America paint, daily on the news. For some reason they side with the violent against the peaceful, and for an even more unexplainable reason many Liberal Jews do as well. It baffles the mind.
I thing the problem all along has been that Jewish people, by large, are actually a very kind-hearted people, but not always that intelligent about the means to the end of kindness. Liberalism was created as a scam to rationalize selfishness under the guise of compassion. That guise fools many whose goal is purely altruist albeit not too well thought out. In Israel the Jews keep giving the Moslems chance after chance to pursue peace, but always wind up disappointed.
