Observations on the extremely late-term abortion of George Tiller

Tiller’s now before a judge he cannot buy off. Ironically had he not bought his way out of his last conviction, he’d be safe, and alive in prison now.

The Kansas Democrat Party is inconsolable over the tragic loss of such a large source of their campaign funding.

The Obama administration is scrambling to protect other abortionists. This is the second abortionist murdered in just ten years. The DHS is on full alert, since obviously another, lone, right-wing assassin could pop up any decade now.

The National Organization for (Liberal/Lesbian) Women is demanding more action. They claim the rhetoric of those that oppose abortion is so over-the-top that it contributed to Tiller’s murder. They are demanding all pro-life people be classified as “domestic terrorists and violent racketeers” and hunted down. Yeah, can’t have any over-the-top rhetoric, can we.

Micheal Keegan, president of People for Norman Lear’s the American Way said, “…it's impossible to separate today's tragedy from the violent language that has been directed for years at doctors like George Tiller.” In other words, anyone who disagrees with a Liberal is guilty of murder. Certainly glad Liberals are refraining from an over-the-top rhetoric.

Vicki Saporta, president and CEO of the People Who Never Learned to Count National Abortion Federation said “It is abhorrent that once again, individuals who oppose the right to choose have used violence to try to advance their extreme anti-choice agenda” We must assume she meant the guy who shot Tiller, rather than Tiller, who used violence to rob innocent babies of any choice, while making millions. Using violence to deny people choice, for money is okay, you just shouldn’t do it for “political” reasons.

One Liberal flamer at the Kansas City Star wrote…

However, the motive for the crime we can all surmise, given the vitriolic rhetoric aimed at Tiller these past couple of decades by anti-abortion activists.

And if we’re right about that, then we know the identities of his accomplices.

They include everyone who has ever called Tiller’s late-term abortion clinic a murder mill.

Whoever called Tiller “Tiller the Killer.”

Groups that fomented hate toward a man who, rightly or wrongly, believed he was serving a noble purpose by being one of the few doctors in the country who performed late-term abortions.

Yeah, and he’s spread such love, isn’t he. Do these people actually believe Tiller made millions, bribed dozens if not hundreds of elected officials all because he was so concerned about women? Seriously. Tiller was one of the few people evil enough to agree to kill babies that were seconds away from being born healthy—babies to which there is more than a ten year waiting list to adopt. And somehow people who found that repugnant are now guilty of accessory to murder?!?

I’ll be honest, I was very pleased when I heard Tiller was killed. He should have been in prison, but if there’s anyone beyond the guy that pulled the trigger, who deserves the “accomplice” title it would be Liberals and corrupt politicians who allowed Tiller to actually violate what few laws there were restricting abortion. you can only argue that we’re a nation of laws so far when corrupt Liberals are constantly ignoring those laws and pretending as if they are above them. When you ignore the law, you are sending the message that the law is meaningless. Any wonder that someone eventually took them serious about that?

As a commenter at Ace of Spades wrote “Someone just shot a Nazi guard manning the gas chamber at Aushwitz.  I should feel bad about this?” I think that sums up what a lot of people are thinking right now, but most are afraid to admit it.

As for Scott Roeder, the man who currently has been identified as the most likely culprit in the shooting—we may not be all that broken up about the outcome, but it was a really stupid thing to do. Liberals are the ones that ignore the law, not us. They can get away with all kinds of hypocrisy and double standards, because they have no integrity at all. We’re the good guys. We wait and do things the right way. Tiller deserved to be in prison, or at least executed after being tried for the crime of mass murder—in a court of law. In the battle to end abortion, babies will be saved when we make it illegal. While Tiller won’t be killing any, anymore, his cohorts will now pretend to have the moral high ground, and may very well continue to murder babies for many more years, because of this. Scott, you’ve probably helped a whole lot more babies die, than would have been killed by Tiller. Live with that in prison.

I have read other conservative and even Christian sites bemoaning the "murder" of Tiller. I as well am not at all broken up about justice being played out here. We either believe that what is happening in these clinics is a crime or we don't. Before anyone reading this rears up in self righteous indignation, answer me this: if killing is always wrong, would it have been "murder" to hire an assassin to kill hitler? After all we have no evidence that he personally killed anyone with his own hand. And yet I think, most people would not have a problem with that.(except some liberals who hate Jewish people anyway) Why? Because even though millions of Germans thought what he was doing was right, we now know he was flat out wrong. So in the same way, it doesn't matter who thinks abortion is right now, we know it IS wrong, and hopefully very soon it will be displayed and exposed for what it is. Now having said that as Danny pointed out, we are a nation of laws. Even though we used to have a law that said black people were not humans and in fact property as decided by our supreme court, only to find out years later the judges were complete morons. I guess we are waiting for the next "correction" to be handed down.
