Did you know there’s a growing number of people who not only can solve the Rubik’s Cube, not only solve it in record time but can solve it–Blindfolded?
The way Speedcubers (people who can solve it in less than 10 seconds) do it is by studying the mixed cube, developing a plan to solve it, then when told to start, execute that plan as quickly as possible. They have to see and grasp all the moves in their head after a quick study of the position of the colors. They then developed the most expedient plan with the least amount of moves to solve the puzzle. Bored with speedcubing the more advances cubers began doing it blindfolded. Once they studied the cube, then developed the solution, they were blindfolded and solved the cube from memory, without being able to see where the colors were. The world’s record for blindfolded speedcubing is 16.22 seconds. (The record not blindfolded is 3.47 seconds)
That there are people who can put together a solution to a puzzle that the vast majority of people could never solve is amazing. That they could develop it, then execute blindfolded is even more amazing.
That such people exist and are still like mindless ants to the Creator of the universe should tell us that not only does God have a plan, but that plan takes everything into account, and you are part of that plan.
I have a Rubik’s Cube I toy with when I’m watching TV. I’ve never been able to solve it, but it also reminds me that as complicated as it is, God has everything figured out and as long as I’m obedient to Him, I’m in the good side of his plan.
“For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. He hath showed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.”–Luke 1:49-53 [https://kjav.us/luk_1_49-53]
